Grandimpianti has been chosen to supply the equipment for the entire catering area of EDIT TORINO, a new benchmark of excellence in the Turin gastronomic panorama.

Standing for “Eat Drink Innovate Together”, EDIT is an innovative concept dedicated to different kinds of catering. A multifunction place based on concepts of sharing and innovation and divided into 5 areas, from the bakery café to the brewery and pub, from the cocktail bar to the restaurant with open kitchen.

Grandimpianti supplied the equipment for the entire catering area of EDIT TORINO. An impressive venue made up of different gastronomy solutions over 2 levels and a surface area of over 2,400 square metres inside a large nineteenth-century building. The ground level of EDIT is given over to the idea of socialising and conviviality. Modern and sophisticated spaces hold a bakery café and gelateria (with bakery and pastry unit equipped by Aroma by Naboo from Lainox), a brewery and a pub (whose counter, 25 metres long, has been established as the most imposing in Italy).
On the first level guests can savour the culinary excellence of the restaurant managed by the award-winning chefs 'Costardi Bros.' Christian & Manuel, or try their hand in the kitchen thanks to specialist workshops. Also on the first level is an elegant cocktail bar.

The restaurant offers a splendid open kitchen to give the guests an even more exciting dining experience. The workshop kitchen, with its seating capacity for 22, is one of the largest chef’s tables internationally.
The kitchen is made up of an island with Ambach (Chef 850 series) facing equipment and fully visible preparation. The island is fitted with double pasta cookers, induction hobs, double frytop and two fryers. There is also a Naboo oven by Lainox in the kitchen and a Hiber chiller. The washing area is equipped with a glass washer and a hood-type dishwasher with heat recovery by Comenda.

On the same level as the restaurant there is a large and fully equipped space available to the public, operators and also to those who simply want to have fun in the kitchen. The space is structured into 4 workshops (with 4 Mareno kitchens from the Star and High Performance series and Lainox ovens) and an elegant demonstration kitchen from the Evolution line by Silko for show cooking. EDIT clients can therefore play a key role in various culinary experiences and try different professional kitchens.
